  1. For our revision of the immune system project we needed to include the following.

-B cells are made in the red bone marrow and mature there.
-T cells are made in the red bone marrow and mature in the thymus.
-Primary immune response: the clonal section of specific lymphocytes after first exposure to an antigen (takes up to two weeks)
-Secondary immune response: the activation of memory cells by a second exposure to an antigen (much faster, only takes 2-7 days)
-The difference between primary and secondary immune response is that primary is the first exposure to the antigen and secondary is the second exposure to an antigen.
-Clonal section: the antigen driven division of a specific lymphocyte into two clones of cells.
-Cytokines are small proteins such as interferons that are produced to help other cells avoid infection.
-CD4-helper cell that keeps the cells together to start the reaction.
-CD8 cells works with cytotoxic cells and helps keep the cells together so the reaction can begin.
-Cellular response is the immune response carried out by T-cells while Humoral response is carried out by B-Cells and antibodies.
